How To Succeed In Life,
And A Fun Night Out.
Doing something for the sake of doing it is so much better than relying on a specific outcome to make you feel like it was worthwhile.
So many people get discouraged when they start actually trying and it doesn’t go how the envisioned it to a T, when in reality they’re doing more than they even thought.
Both those paragraphs are neat but not entertaining so let me make a fun then business related analogy.
How many times have you gone out on the town and told your buddies/buddetts that “I gotta score or else I’m downbad”
“Dude if we don’t kiss the floor then we didn’t have enough mixies at the pre”
Comically setting yourself up for failure, while both of these are neat, what you’re really hoping for is to have a good time.
People who do do this end up disappointed the night after,
Say the good ‘ole, “bro I’m never drinking again”
And doordash 12-16 ounces of sodium to get over the night.
A better lens would be doing the right (arguable) thing and going out,
And just seeing where it takes you.
Who knows, you might be waking up on your buddies couch as he walks down stairs,
And start a conversation like this:
“Bro, what happened last night?”
“LOL man did you hit your head that hard after trying to tandem ride the lime scooter together?”
“Insane we ran into BLANK last night, I hadn’t seem them in forever”
“So nice of that couple to buy us that round after I guessed the misses was 19”
“Have you messaged your new wife back yet?”
“Wife?!”

Miss her man.
Putting yourself into the mix allows for opportunities to happen, sitting at home or scrolling endlessly through Tik-Blob does not.
If I had a Trilly-Milly for every person who I know personally who started in one niche of business and ended up in something else entirely,
I’d be a gagilionare.
They started in something originally, like agency work, website development or anything under the sun,
And when they were in the mix and saw a opportunity to do something greater, they took it.
No one is going to start an agency today and be the next Iman Gadzhi.
Or start a gym consultation company and rival Alex Becker.
But if you start SOMETHING, you’re at least starting down the path,
And when you get a fork in the road, you get to choose where to go,
But you only get to see the destination when you get there.
TLDR: Do something, basically anything long enough and the universe will reward you with opportunities to step up to the next level.
I’ll see you there.
Warm regards,
JM
